The company is a Sugar manufacturing concern and was acquired by Omni Group in 2012 via an official tender process conducted by Sindh High Court.

The mill encompasses an expansion potential of 5,000 TCD and so the equipment ordered and designed is accordingly. The district has high recovery rates and is endowed with adequate supply of water.
