Introduction:
The company is a sugar manufacturing concern and was acquired by Omni Group in 2014 via an official tender process conducted by Sindh High Court. The plant did its last crushing season in the year 2010 – 2011, after restructuring.
The mill encompasses an expansion potential of 4,500 TCD and so the equipment ordered and designed is accordingly. The mill is stretched over an area of 150 acres approx., which entails Plant area, Boiler, Power House and Canteen.
Larr Sugar Mills enjoys a distinct advantage of its location. Area is a highly fertile and is considered to be a mono-crop area for sugarcane. Water availability is quite abundant in its proximity, since the river Indus flows a few Kilo meters to the east of the mill area.
